Today marks 28 years of delivering Hero School® presentations, to over 500 organizations and more than a million adults and youth.

And yet several times a week, it still surprises me when someone who was once a teen in a school assembly, or in foster care, or homeless, or incarcerated, yells my name in public and thanks me, like this big rig driver delivering goods to a store yesterday. I was working with another org next door.



Now I’m wondering how they still recognize this older version of me…
