Someone in here asked me to share my story and why I started this page. Everyone is dealing with something. Sometimes it shows, sometimes it's hidden. No matter what, there's always a way forward.
My story starts a few years back. I was a single Mom of 3 grown kids, and at that time a Gramita of 5. I'd been in Real Estate at that time 16 years selling new homes for builders. Straight commission only, no salary...no pressure there. I'd also just gotten back from Medellin, Colombia where I adopted my youngest son at the ripe old age of 42. At the same time I was starting a new job with a big builder. Stress? Me? Nah!
One morning I woke up to get ready for work and I felt like I'd been hit by a truck. I hurt all over, couldn't think straight, and was completely exhausted. My mind immediately went to it being a bad case of the flu, but it had it's little claws stuck in me and would NOT go away. There were days I literally had to crawl to the phone to call in sick. Those were horrible days. I chased doctors for a year and a half and was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. There were dozens of things I tried to fix it, natural and traditional medicine, but nothing worked.
Fast forward a few years. Back pain was diagnosed as Degenerative Disk Disease, and the final straw was Menieres Disease. If you're not familiar with Menieres it includes spontaneous vertigo (as in hits with no warning), deafness and ringing in my ears. The anxiety form never knowing when a vertigo attack would hit was crazy-making. It felt like a cosmic game of whack-a-mole and I was the mole.
It was in an online Menieres support group that I first heard about CBD oil. My first reaction was "Oh no! Not that plant!"
You see I'd had a very bad experience with a family member and MJ. There way no way I wanted anything to do with THAT plant.
Silly me. Luckily I was desperate and willing to try ANYTHING to control the pain, anxiety and Menieres. I researched...a lot. Finally, I decided to give it a try. The results were almost immediate.
The pain all but disappeared. There have been no vertigo attacks since I started on the oil and the anxiety is nonexistent. And sound sleep? Yep, got that back too.
I will NEVER be without this oil. Finally something that works and with now side effects. CBD has given me back my health...and hope. I'm so incredibly grateful!
