On September 11, 2001, the world as we knew it changed forever. It was a day that will forever be etched into our memories- a day of terror, shock, and tragedy. For those of us old enough to remember the events of that day, the images of the burning Twin Towers and the Pentagon are seared into our minds like a scar. We remember where we were, what we were doing, and the feelings of fear and uncertainty that gripped us all.

We remember the courage of the first responders who ran towards danger to save lives and the heroism of the passengers on Flight 93 who sacrificed themselves to prevent further destruction. As we look back on this day, we honor the lives lost and the heroes who risked their own lives- a reminder that even in darkness, there are still glimmers of hope and light.
