Mrs. Claus here in the gift-wrapping room. The elves are working 24/7 in here. There are huge rolls of wrapping paper as far as the eye can see and all colors of ribbons. Christmas music is playing and we are singing while we wrap. In about 30 minutes we'll take a hot cocoa and cookie break with Santa. The kitchen elves told me the cookies for tonight are butter cookies in the shape of bells. I know they will be delicious - hot right out of the oven. Yum.

Mrs. Claus here with good news. I have been discharged from the North Pole Clinic. The doctor says I am no longer contagious. The elves have promised to work extra hard to help me get things ready for Christmas. There is so much to be done and so little time to do it all. You should see the mail room - letters are piled up to the ceiling. Santa is reading as fast as he can.

Mrs. Claus here still at the North Pole Clinic. One of the elves reminded me I didn't finish telling you about the reindeer. He brought in my laptop so I could tell you more. I left off with Donner and Blitzen. Comet is not as fast as Blitzen, but fast enough to give the lightning-fast reindeer a run for his money. He can be relied on to stay on course no matter how strongly the winds blow. Cupid flies straight as an arrow, with a keen sense of direction that always keeps him on course. Usually harnessed alongside Comet.

Mrs. Claus here at the North Pole Clinic. The doctor was in this morning and gave me another antibiotic injection. He says I must stay in bed for another week. Thank you for all the good wishes and cards and homemade soups. It's lonely being quarantined and Santa and the elves miss my nightly fresh-baked cookies and cocoa. The elves have reported that toy production is running smoothly.

Mrs. Claus back at the North Pole. Unfortunately I had to check into the clinic for the rest of the week. The elves are treating me kindly as I recover from pneumonia. I don't have time to be ill. There is so much to be donel If you have a sick person in your family, be extra kind to him/her.

Mrs. Claus here back at the North Pole. I was invited to visit the fine seniors at Oakleaf Village in Lexington on Tuesday. Sparkles the Elf came with me. Today I met the sweetest children at 'Tis The Season Gift Shop in W. Columbia. We listened to stories, and rang bells while singing Jingle Bells. They loved the surprises in my special basket: the naughty elf, Jingles the reindeer puppet, Mousey the talking mouse and a real sleigh bell. I'm getting ready to serve cocoa and cookies to Santa and the elves. They had to work extra hard while I was away.
