Introducing the Champ Plan. (health coverage that sits ontop of employees' current coverage)
Employee sees an increase in their pay by average of $125.00 a month, as well as added health benefits.
Employer saves $40.80/month per employee by reducing their F**A tax. Throughout the year, the employer will save $489.60/year per employee in F**A tax saving. Ex 1000 employee is $40,800 a month the employer saves in F**A tax, or 489,600k a year.
With the Champ plan taking on claims that would normally hit their group health plan, it could potentially lower their group health premium cost, or at very least, give them negotiation power to keep their premium be the same.
If employer sells there company for 10x we just built 4.8m in value to the owners pocket.
This does not cost the employee any money to be enrolled in the Champ plan. The employers admin fee is $51/per-employee a month who is enrolled. However, the F**A savings created makes the employer net positive the $40.80/per-employee a month through the section 125 tax code.
