Recent 500 kW project of ours that went online at an apartment complex just outside of Chicago, Illinois.

444 Social Apartments now own their solar array and are saving an estimated $72,000 a year in electricity savings by offsetting 30% of their electricity with the sun.

The system will save them $1.8 million over 25 years, and will power the apartment complex for over 40 years.

We were able to use available state and federal incentives to pay for their system upfront using our proprietary solar ownership program. This means they were cash flow positive by month 1 and realized an immediate ROI without having to take out a loan nor did it require any capital expenditure budget.

We recently signed on a packaging company in cold, cloudy, rainy Illinois for a 452 kW solar system that will offset 20% of their electricity and save them ~$39k a year.

Like most decision makers, this facility looked at solar before but it just didn’t pencil.

Typically a solar company will want the project paid for by the time they finish.

A board of directors or CFO can’t afford to wait 5-10 years for a solar project to break even for a non-core business expense.

What they really need is substantial and immediate savings with no investment or risk.

After speaking with us, they capitalized on our novel energy savings program that front-loads federal and state subsidies to pay for their system.

We simply build the project, and they share a portion of their savings with us until the project is paid off.

No construction payments, immediate ROI, and they own their solar array.

As Michael Scott of Dunder Mifflin would say, a "win-win-win situation".

India will add only 50 GW of solar project capacity and 10 GW of wind power over the next five years, according to a survey of chief executives, to leave it far short of the government ambition of hitting 175 GW of clean energy in two years’ time.

Bosses from 40 Indian and international businesses made the pessimistic prediction as part of this year’s renewable energy survey of CEOs by consultancy Bridge to India.

The expected return would leave the nation woefully short of its ambitious 175 GW clean energy target, which was laid down with a 2022 deadline. Chief executives who criticized aggressive clean power auctions said they would like to see more fossil fuel facilities thrown into the mix.

A preview at a 1.635 mW system for a manufacturing facility based in Illinois who supply Home Depot a variety of home furnishing and storage products.

Their new solar system is estimated to save them ~$70,000 a year before incentives. They'll be cash flow positive by month 1 as soon as the system turns on.

This required no upfront capital, loan, or third party ownership for this corporation to own their own solar system.

Instead they're able to maximize savings without the risk and years long wait for ROI through our proprietary energy savings program.

Their decision to act quickly in 2020 maximizes their savings with the 26% Federal Tax Credits, that are scheduled to decrease sharply over the next year and a half.

PepsiCo announced plans to achieve 100% renewable electricity for its U.S. direct operations this year. The U.S. is the food and beverage company’s largest market and accounts for nearly half of its total global electricity consumption.

PepsiCo’s efforts in the U.S. build upon its global progress in switching to renewable electricity around the world. For example, nine countries in PepsiCo’s European direct operations already meet 100% of their electricity demand from renewable sources. Additionally, in 2018, 76% of the electricity needs of the PepsiCo Mexico Foods business were delivered via wind energy.

“We have entered a decade that will be critical for the future of our planet’s health,” said Ramon Laguarta, chairman and CEO of PepsiCo. “PepsiCo is pursuing 100% renewable electricity in the U.S. because the severe threat that climate change poses to the world demands faster and bolder action from all of us.”

PepsiCo’s shift to renewable electricity in the U.S. this year is expected to deliver a 20% reduction in company-wide direct operations (Scopes 1 and 2) greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions relative to a 2015 baseline. This represents a significant contribution to the company’s goal of reducing absolute GHG emissions across its global value chain by 20% by 2030 against a 2015 baseline.
