Here's some recent impromptu work for St. Olaf College! The snow was too beautiful to unphotographed over Thanksgiving weekend, and I was fortunate to have a ton of great subjects to work with.

I finally finished setting up my print storefront!

If you think that one of my photos would look great on your wall, then check out the gallery below. I've started with a curated selection of my shots of wildlife, landscapes, and of course St. Olaf, but I'm always happy to make more photos available on demand.

All prints are made by the amazing WHCC, located right here in Minnesota. I've used this local business for my own prints for years and I've always been thrilled with the results.

St. Olaf's first year move-in has always been my favorite event to photograph on campus. The energy and excitement is contagious, and I'm always reminded of my own first time moving onto campus (nine years ago now!).

This year had some exceptionally pleasant weather which helped make the photos even more special. Thank you to St. Olaf for bringing me in for these photos, and best of luck to the class of 2028!

2024 is half gone, but I somehow haven't posted here yet this year. It's been a great year so far and I feel like I'm just building more momentum. I've had a fun mix of business and fun shoots, so here are a few highlights from January through June. Every photo has a caption giving some context!

Yesterday was one of my top three most successful days for wildlife photography ever! I visited the Sax Zim Bog with a number of friends and was treated to an incredible show. The top two encounters were undoubtedly this ermine and great gray owl. Everything came together to make a great set of photos possible: light, perches, and poses.

I've been quiet on this page lately, but that's not for a lack of photos. If anything, I've been so busy that it's been difficult to remember to post! Here are some of my favorite shots since I returned from my whirlwind trip to Japan with the St. Olaf Band.

Last month I had the incredible opportunity to travel alongside the St. Olaf College Band to document their tour in Japan. Beyond the three concerts I attended, I also followed band members as they explored the sights, sounds, and tastes of a country I called home for nearly a year in middle school.

I took over 4,000 photos, delivered nearly 1,000, and you can see over 300 in this gallery.

I've been casually trying to get photos of birds in the recently burned prairie for the better part of a month. Last Friday, I finally got the opportunity I was looking for and got these shots. I'm happy to say that the results greatly exceeded my expectations.
