🎃The Groovy Goblin Get-down was a BOO-gie night to remember!

On Thursday, October 15th, PCC hosted its Nassau Halloween Dance Party, and PTW student, DJ JB (Justin) was hired to spin the tunes and boy, did he deliver! 🎧🔥 You’d never have guessed it was his first big DJ gig! Justin was cool, calm, and in command of the dance floor, mixing tracks and feeling the crowd’s vibe like a pro. 🎶👏

His PTW pals were in the house, too, showing their support for Justin and the PCC event!

HUGE shout-out to the PTW baking team for providing the delicious cupcakes! 🧁

One of the favorite moments of Justin’s set was when he transitioned from Halloween hits to “We Are Family” by Kool & the Gang, bringing everyone together on the dance floor! ❤️🕺💃

💟Favorite thing about working at PBS:
"One of my favorite parts about working at PBS is having the opportunity to help students discover their strengths, build confidence, and see possibilities for their future unfold. Working with the PTW Y3 students has been especially meaningful because I get to see them take what they have learned, coupled with the new skills acquired in the program and apply it to real-life experiences: developing work skills, exploring careers, becoming more independent, and finding their place in the community. I love being part of that journey and watching students realize, "I can do this!" and having a clearer vision of what's next for them in the world of adulthood."
