Murals by Pam I have been in the decorative painting business for 27 years. I specialize in murals, faux finishing and handpainting. Reasonable rates and reliable service.

I can basically paint whatever you need and match color perfectlly. Referrals available Pamela moved to California from Amarillo, TX with her family in the early 1980’s and turned a love of art into a thriving business. She started by teaching her original designs at a local decorative painting studio and from there took her talents into people’s homes. Pamela has a talent for knowing what a clien

t wants even when they don’t have the words to express it. Her years of working with clients and designers have honed her natural ability to match color expertly as well as coordinate fabric design. In addition to being self taught she has traveled to Ireland to learn techniques that she has applied to her artistic repertoire. With over 35 years of experience and a natural talent Pamela has become a sought after artist. She has worked with dozens of designers in several states. Her artistic talents have been featured in showcase houses in Toluca Lake, CA, Newport Beach, CA and Valencia, CA. Pamela has worked in the home of Kenny Loggins which was featured on HGTV, her work has been featured in several decorating magazines and can be seen in California Furniture Galleries Henredon collection. Her specialties include murals and trompe l’oeil including skies, hand painting, children’s rooms, and faux finishing which includes wall treatments, faux stone such as on fireplaces, wood graining and metallic finishes. I have had the most awesome opportunity to work with a client who has a special area, basement/media room/craft room that is totally dedicated to of course family, but then Harry Potter. This is a replica of the fireplace where Harry Potter received his invitations to Hogwarts. My client’s husband made the identical fireplace mantle… the rest is paint! This includes the wallpaper from the movie, which is hand-painted on the wall, the faux wood graining on the mantle. I’m sure you can see that this is not a real fireplace, but I actually fooled myself when I was painting it, I tried to keep picking up the invitation that was on the hearth. I have really enjoyed learning about this movie and all of the details, amazing!

The dark, reddish wood of this existing fireplace just did not fit the new design and color tones of my clients living room. What a difference a couple of days makes! Painted these 9 panels off site in my garage. Thin panels were then attached by some great carpenter’s. This is a beautiful spanish style home in Spanish Hills in Camarillo. I’m very proud of this, all of the stencils were designed and hand cut then applied and hand painted… patina added. Very fun!
