More than 90% of successful cyber-attacks start with someone clicking something they shouldn’t. Once that happens, you’ve opened the door for cybercriminals to invade your device which could allow them to install malware, watch your keystrokes, or gain access to your accounts and passwords.

Resist the urge to click on attachments or links in suspicious emails, texts or social posts. Instead, visit the site directly, or hover over the link to reveal the source to determine if it’s fraudulent. Keep an eye out for misspelled names or email addresses, poor grammar, urgent actions or demands or requests for sensitive information.
