Baker officially turned ONE, which means I can finally share more from her birthday session.

When her mama said she wanted to do a steak smash instead of a traditional cake smash, I wasn’t surprised! 🐮🥩 We leaned into all the pink bow and cow details and it honestly turned out even cuter than I imagined.🎀

I absolutely love when parents bring me unique ideas that fit their family and their little one’s personality. Those personal touches always make sessions so special.

If your little one is getting close to their first birthday, now is the perfect time to get their cake smash booked… or steak smash 😉

There are many hurting hearts right now, and our community is feeling it deeply yet again.

Cooper, you had a light about you. The kind of smile that came easy… the kind of confidence that didn’t need to be loud to be felt. I keep thinking about your senior session… standing out there in the river, deciding it was the perfect place for a haircut and just going for it. That moment, that smile, that thumbs up after… it was just you.

As someone who has the honor of photographing these seniors, moments like this sit a little heavier. These photos become more than just memories… they become pieces of someone people love and miss deeply.

When I look at this image, I can’t help but picture you like this… at peace… steady… just stepping into something bigger.

You’ll be remembered for so much more than a moment… you left something that lasts.

and they’re the easiest way to freeze this stage for just a second.

Remi is 💜NE!

I don’t think it gets much sweeter than this…those little teeth, that tiny top pony, and just the happiest little personality shining through every single image.
She gave us the smiles…
and then a little taste test with purpose 😆
just enough frosting-covered chaos to make it perfect.

I have to say, I was extra excited about this one. Pink always seems to win out, but purple really took the cake here 😉 and I am absolutely here for it.

These are the kinds of moments that feel big right now… but somehow still go by way too fast.

Diné came in to try on gowns for her outdoor session… and you know I can’t help myself when everything is coming together just right 🤎

Such a beautiful mama, inside and out

Before we ever made it outside, we snuck into the studio for a few quick portraits… and now I’m sitting here wondering why we don’t do this every time.

She chose a different gown for her outdoor session, but this little in-between moment?
It turned into something so special. I’m obsessed!
