What a way to finish up 3 sales in May! 2,790 head sold and it was a barn burner! Just shy of 14,000 head sold in 3 days! We are truly blessed and grateful you trust us to market your stock! The demand was HIGH and the quality was OUTSTANDING!!! I will have to admit the market was $.30-.50 higher than I expected all day long! All the #1 fat lambs weighing 60-120 # brought $3.40-3.85!!! All the kid goats 55-100 # brought $4.75-5.50lll The slaughter ewe maker was unreal $1.80-2.40! Last but not least the ultrasounded confirmed bred commercial ewes bred to the Australian White ram brought $950-1100 per head!!šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„ If you have any stock feed them hard get them fat we will be back June 13th at 10 am! Once again thank you for your support in buying and selling!

Thank you again to everyone who bought and sold stock yesterday! We sold another 4,646 head on our 2nd of 3 sales in May! The market was a little cheaper in places and a lot higher in other places! We will have one more sale next week on the 23rd at 10 am! The market reporter wasnā€™t there yesterday so here is a rundown on slaughter stock!
Feeder lambs 30-55 # $3.10-3.65
55-69 # lambs $3.10-3.40
70-99 lambs $3.20-3.60
100-135 # lambs $3.00-3.45
Mature rams $1.85-2.75
Ewes $1.35-1.90
Feeder kids 30-50 # $3.75-4.50
50-69 # kids $4.75-5.40
70-99 # kids $4.30-5.15
100-150 # wethers $3.75-4.40
Mature Billies $2.85-3.60
Nannies $2.00-2.75
All the nice take home ewes ā€œexposedā€ $175-275 by the head
30 confirmed bred ultrasound ewes $365 by the head and the farmer took them all!
All in all it was a great day. We will be there again next week, but we continue to think it will be a little cheaper under 75 #. I think it could be worth the wait to get them into June because I donā€™t know what we will have to sell! Thank you!

Thank you to each and every buyer and seller that participated yesterday! We rocked through 6,405 head of sheep and goats! The USDA quoted every animal that came through so go check their report out! BUT the highlight of the day was the draft of 75 2 year old Spanish cross wethers that had been on feed!! The 75 head averaged 131 # bring $4.65 a pound dollaring out $601 per head! Talk about crazy!! We will be back doing it again next Saturday the 16th and then the 23rd! Remember under 70-75 # animals are getting a lot cheaper! Once again thank you to all!

Itā€™s an exciting time to be selling sheep and goats! Itā€™s just my opinion but we put away 4,138 head yesterday! The stock over 75 pounds was a huge hit yesterday! I encourage everyone to go look at the USDAs market report but if not here is a how I seen the #1 slaughter stock yesterday!

Thank you to everyone that helped make last Saturdays exotic sale a huge success! We sold for 12 hours straight had over 200 horses and donkeys and over 500 exotic cattle!! Not to mention all the true exotics, birds, sheep, and goats!

We will be back to our regular scheduled sale this Saturday at 10 am! The lamb and kid market is staying in there strong way higher than years past! But remember all goats over 70 pounds, ram lambs over 75 pounds, and mature sheep will be in high demand come May for Eid!

Here is an order for the sale Saturday! This thing is growing like crazy itā€™s going to be an awesome day! There is NO payment for seats! Warm room will sell at 10:30 as well! Thank you to Sam Hostetler and family for partnering with us so we can sell the true exotic animals. So if youā€™ve got it we will be selling it Saturday! As well as goats and sheep after cattle!

As most of the general public is aware the mail going through the local post offices is very very slow lately. I cannot imagine doing their job so this is not condemning them in the slightest. We are required by law to mail your checks by the next business day and we do! From my understanding the mail does not get post marked now until it reaches Kansas City, so yes it will look like itā€™s not post marked until a couple days! If you are unaware the minute your animals sell your check is printed and available for pickup! Most generally we are at the barn until 10 pm so if you are wanting your check quicker than the 14 days it is taking to receive your check PLEASE make arrangements to pick it up that night! As bad as Iā€™d like to live at the barn we donā€™t, so if you canā€™t pick it up that day you will have to wait on the mail. If by 14 days you havenā€™t received your check we will issue you another check preferably in person. Please donā€™t be the person that calls and gets hateful with us because we cannot do anything about the mail and besides we would rather you pick up your check in person maybe you will buy something while youā€™re there šŸ˜‰ Thank you to everyone we hope to see you March 28th at 10 am!

We had a great replacement sale yesterday sold 2220 head! The ewes guaranteed bred brought from $250-$450 the open ones brought from $175-275. The Rams brought from $400-750. We didnā€™t have many Nanny Goats the ones we did have bring from $250-375. The sheep families brought from $110-$180 per head! We did have a good selection of Lambs as well. They all brought in the low $4 range and what few kid goats we had brought $4.40-4.85! We will be back next Saturday, March 15 as Ramadan ends. This could be one of the last chances to get some high animal sold until May. Thank you to all buyers and sellers are alike!

We had another awesome sale Saturday with almost 5200 head sold through the ring! Kid goats were extremely high and so were the take home ewes and nanny goats! Lambs traded very good but were $.10-20 cheaper. In my opinion as we get closer to Easter they will continue to get cheaper due to high volume. Donā€™t forget Saturday is our caged animal and replacement sale! All of our normal buyers will be in attendance for slaughter stock if you have anything to sell! With all the rain coming in feel free to bring your stock Friday and keep the dry! Thank you!

Another record breaking sale in the Midwest! While 4,357 head isnā€™t the biggest sale we have had the animals sold brought more dollars per head than any weā€™ve ever had! The prices per pound on kids, lambs, nannies, wethers, and billies were the highest ever produced in the Midwest (and Iā€™m not talking about a sale that just sold 10 of them way too high)!!! We sold them all way too high!! We sold over 500 take home ewes, and I counted up only 30 ewes went to slaughter!! If that isnā€™t something to be proud of I donā€™t know what is! The ultrasounded ewes that were bred brought over $100 per head verse the open ewes, so it does pay to have them checked in my opinion!! If you have any to sell in Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, Oklahoma, or anywhere for that matter get ahold of me, and let me get you every dollar you deserve! We will be back February 28th, March 7th (ewe replacement sale), March 14th, and March 28th! Here is how the USDA seen then market, and I couldnā€™t agree more! Thank you to everyone!!
