A huge Thank You to Campbell Co Electric LLC for donating their bucket truck so that we can safely clean the gutters at the station. We even got to do some pump training on Tanker 1 with a new member as they hosed out the gutters.

A few of our members received training in the Operational K9 Protocols. This allows NFRD to respond if a working K9, such as Nottingham PD's 'Brooklyn', had a medical emergency while on duty. We will continue to get more of our members trained to ensure the safety of our four legged partners in blue.

Nottingham Tanker 1 and members participated in a water supply/ tanker shuttle training this weekend. Rural towns without pressurized hydrants like Nottingham, rely on water shuttles and mutual aid to get water to the fire, and trainings like this improve skills and strengthen mutual aid partnerships. Much thanks to Stratham Fire for the invite and putting on a great training.

This storm is still brining rain and wind today and tomorrow. This morning Nottingham fire responded to a tree that was on some wires and burning.

Eversource crews are out along with PD and Fire ensuring the safety of our community. If you see any trees leaning against wires, or wires down, please do not touch them, call 911. Consider all wires as live, and keep a safe distance from any downed wire.
