As if we needed more stress.....

We wanted to provide a brief update about a situation that will impact all flower farms in Ecuador. Ecuador has declared a state of emergency in an effort to combat organized crime and the drug trade. More specifically, they have imposed a curfew banning people from being on the roads during nighttime hours from May 3rd until May 18th. This will restrict the farms' ability to make deliveries to the airport.

Our cargo agency, the airlines, and the farms are making the necessary adjustments to arrange for deliveries to be made a full day early, and during daytime hours. The hope is that the impact on orders will be minimal, but there is the potential for some orders to be impacted.
