“Stay Hooked Cowgirl”
It’s easy to say, you know coming from a girl who has it all...and by all I mean a decent work ethic, a big dream and a hard head.
But really, just stay hooked.
You want to move to the highest position in your career? Stay hooked. Go for it, show you can handle it.
You want to be the most bad ass horse woman there is? Stay hooked, study the people who whip you at every jackpot, take care of your horse, and do it.
You want to be the best spouse in the world? Stay hooked. Going after your dream while being a loving spouse is tough. There is no playbook. It takes a special kind of man to stand with a badass woman, don’t settle.
You will get knocked off track, some s**t head horse or some s**t head man will make you question your worth. Learn your lesson and move on, don’t take it with you but don’t forget who made you feel that way.
It’s not going to be easy. It’s not going to happen quickly. Most likely, it won’t be big rewards, and cool fireworks. It’s going to look like a lot of late nights, even more tear soaked pillows, and most importantly, a LOT, and I do mean A LOT, of people at each ledge to stick their hand out and say “Here, let me help you”, because staying hooked is really REALLY hard, and exhausting, and down right painful, but just remember, an ugly caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly, and butterflies eat s**t, too.
So whatever it is, just stay hooked, because it’s never over, and you’ll get there. ✌️
