I received this on my fb page and it warmed my heart knowing this memory bear was used on such a special occasion. This bear was from Jack Webster he was my next door neighbor growing up. His sister is still my bff today.

Just came from my granddaughters wedding reception, no one warned me that Jacks memory“papa bear” was going to be on the memory table, yes I got a little emotional, two of my granddaughters with me later said they thought “oh no grandma is going to have a meltdown”. And his shirt totally matched my
outfit. Thank you so much for making all my grandkids their “papa bear”. They are cherished. Picture in comments

This young man goes to the same church I attend. A few years back he told me “you’re my bestest big friend” and hugged me. He still hugs me and he is my bestest little friend. We are in VBS this week and he made me a very pretty green and silver bead bracelet so I got ahold of his Mom to get me one of his shirts. The shirt she gave me was first his Daddy’s then was Gavin’s until he out grew it which was extra special then I added material from one of my old shirts that I used for the ears, hands and feet. I wrote Gavin a note explaining why I used my material there. On the ears so I could hear everything he has to tell or share with me, the hands so I can hug him every time he hugs me and the feet so if he ever needs me I will be there for whatever reason.
This young man has such a tender heart full of love. Gavin Smith I sure am glad you picked me to be your Bestest Big Friend.

Yesterday I was blessed to hear how the Memory Bears I made for the family of Jeff Lynn blessed them all. I got to share about my boy (Barry Hewitt and share the Lord is enough no matter what). David and Christy Lynn, Michael Lynn and his wife, Jeff’s Mother, his wife and his 4 year old daughter all hugged me, thanked me and made my heart overflow with how I saw God in the midst of their hard day.

Nowata Fire Department will be having an auction on July 4th at the City Park and we have donated a gift certificate to have a memory bear made. There are so many cool auction items so go out bid, buy and help support our local fire department. I think there are items up for bid listed on the Shop local Shop Nowata Page.

4 memory bears made for a very dear friend that lost his son very unexpected. When handing David his bear the look on his face reminds me why I continue making these memory bears. May each time you see your bear I pray it floods your heart and mind with many many memories of Jeff. Hold all those memories close. You will cherish them more than you know my friend.
