Guys, my heart is full today 💓
The Wise Cousin Doyle G Moeller once told me "it takes a wild amount of self-confidence to run a business."
He's right and it can be hard to maintain the necessary levels of basic nerve, let alone confidence..
🤔Am I doing the right thing?
😬Do people need what I do?
🫠Does anyone even care?

But I am. They do. They definitely do.

Thank you Prairie Harvest Mushroom Co. for your partnership, enthusiasm and confidence. There are big things ahead for both of us. 🙌🙌🙌

A gentle reminder.

You cannot control what governments are doing in their policy. You cannot control if someone’s going to be rude to you. You cannot control what your company’s CFO is going to do. You cannot control anything but how you react to everything that happens to you. Once you understand that, life gets happy not sad … you feel empowered not helpless

So many of you are crying over spilled water 💦 … things of the past … actions of others … I promise … this is the one many of you need to adjust !!!❤️❤️❤️

Does it feel like you're doing a lot of communication but nothing is really clicking?

Social posts go out.
You send an email.
The website gets updated.
Maybe you create a flyer...

But somehow, it still feels scattered. Sound familiar?

Unpopular opinion: you don't need to do more.

It might be time to step back and make sure the pieces are actually working together.
🧭 Are you clear about what you want people to understand?
🛸 Are you using the right channels?
👯 Are your messages consistent?
🎯 Are your efforts connected to a real goal?

This is the work clients hire me to do: take an objective look, sort through the pieces and build a clearer path forward.

Not more content for the sake of more content. An organized plan, stronger messaging and a better sense of what to do next.

If your communications feel busy but not especially effective, send me a message. We can talk about where things are getting stuck and whether I’m the right person to help.

Focus. Brainstorming. Kindness. Motivation.
These are just a few of the things we experienced this week during our Clarity Reset!

What's better than all the feels? Measurable results.
✅️ Updated framework and marketing for a current service
✅️ A logo, a business plan, and "renewed motivation"
✅️ A clear picture of 6 month goals, ready to execute

Tomorrow? Enjoying the peace of mind that comes with this process.

Many thanks to those who joined me and help make this experience everything we needed!

Clarity Reset Day 3.
Confession: I did not start my own business because I felt a single bit of confidence about my financial skills. Not one drill bit.

One of the first people I sought out was an accountant. Then I had to find another accountant. Taxes and finance had me quaking in my tube socks.

When I finally decided I could not blindly hand this to anyone, I knew I was facing a learning curve. It was steep. And scary. But I was determined.

My first agenda for Tax & Finance day of the Clarity Reset was minimal - I knew I had to start somewhere and I knew I needed a win.

And a win is what we got.
✅️ Receipts and mileage reports FILED.
✅️ Meeting scheduled with the accountant, QUESTIONS READY.
✅️ Two sneaky subscriptions slowly draining our finances CANCELLED.

Tomorrow is Day 4. The last day of Clarity Reset week.
You know all those notes we keep so we don't lose track of our brilliant ideas?
It's. Your. Turn. 👊

Clarity Reset Day 2.
We tell our clients to plan. We know better than to dive into tactics without strategy, and yet... 🫠
What happens when we actually seize this time?
Jennifer: OMG. I'm so thrilled. I "sat in it," as Megan so eloquently worded the task, and I used your guidance to build my plan.
Megan: I'm excited to get to "doing the doing," but I know how important this planning step is.
✅️ One business plan done, complete with Mission, Vision and Values, 90-day and 6-month plans and...AND a 5-year vision. WOW!
✅️ Short- and long-term marketing goals identified so we can take real action.
✅️ One ineffective social platform disconnected, one process established to pave the way to better content.
Congratulations, these are huge steps!

Tomorrow? Tackling the questions that need to be answered so we can think clearly about taxes & finances.

Clarity Reset Day 1.
✅️ 350 emails purged from the inbox
✅️ Unsubscribed from 4 newsletters I no longer need
✅️ Desk at 8 AM vs. Desk at 11 AM 😮

Tomorrow? Planning for myself like I do for my clients.
