Not wanting to buy a letterman jacket this year for your high schooler? Or have an old one taking up space? How bout a shadow box to display yours or his or her accomplishments that won’t brake the piggy bank (plus won’t take up closet space for the next 30 years, like mine). This right here is absolutely beautiful Silver Maple cookie with burl fiddleback grain. This species is hard to get here as it’s found more on the Eastern side of the country. It’s about 3 ft around and 2.25 inch thick. Would love to make a coffee table for someone interested. The buyer can help design the legs. Couple cutting boards done. Fist one: Rock Maple end grain with Chestnut highlight. Second one: made from a lot of my scrap. But came out pretty cool. Lots of different hard woods. All spoken for/sold. Do have a lot of Rock Maple left for a lot more cutting boards. Let me know if interested.
