🪰 SEEING MORE FLIES AROUND YOUR HOME? 🍂
We’re seeing increased cluster fly activity right now, and October is a typical time for these unwanted visitors to start looking for winter shelter!
Cluster flies often gather on sunny siding before slipping through small gaps around windows, doors, siding, and eaves. Once inside, they can settle into attics and wall voids—and reappear around your windows on warmer days. 🏡
Despite the nuisance, cluster flies aren’t a sign of a dirty home, and they don’t breed indoors. They’re looking for a protected place to spend the winter!
Help keep them out by:
✅ Sealing gaps around window and door frames.
✅ Replacing worn door weatherstripping.
✅ Repairing damaged window and vent screens.
✅ Vacuuming up flies that make their way inside.
At Salty Dog Pest Control, we can identify the flies, inspect for potential entry points, and recommend treatment and prevention options. Addressing those openings is an important part of reducing repeat problems!
