With all of the defund police rhetoric... I want to switch the focus to giving the police the right tools they need! Every police department should have access to crisis services! Having access to crisis services is imperative for officers to be able to do their job effectively and efficiently! Need help developing services VIP Crisis Consultation primary services are all about getting departments the right services.

With current trend to defend and reform law enforcement, departments are scrambling what to figure out how to regain the community's respect and cooperation. A unquie consultation service providing assistance to police departments with set-up of social services and/or mental health services being integrated into police departments could the help needed.

When therapist and social workers are integrated into departments correctly the impact for officers and the community are astonishing. VIP Crisis Consultantion provides the support police officers and their departments need but also the resources residents are in need of. The program design will determine its success and this is not a one model fits all.

If your program is not set up correctly then these are the problems that you can and likely will encounter... This is not something that can easily be accomplished and needs to be handled with care. This is something that VIP Crisis Consultantion focuses on in the development stage of these type program this ensures that both "social workers" and "police" are collaborating effectively.

The year-long contract is between the Buffalo Police Department and Endeavor Health Services.
