"But you can't change people."

WRONG❌🙏

I heard this from a potential client many years ago. She was in a terrible situation at her work - but she didn't believe there was a way to solve it or that anyone could help her. As a result, things just kept getting worse.

Adults behaving badly... it's more than uncomfortable.

Left unaddressed, it costs leaders time, focus, momentum, and financial growth.

It shows up with clients, teams, coworkers, partners, and managers:

Boundary violations.
Unreasonable demands.
Urgency created by someone else’s lack of preparation.

But the truth is: There are ways to solve it.

(RSVP on LinkedIn - check below for info)

Business owners and leaders are expected to stay professional and keep things moving forward. Too often, that means absorbing pressure, stress, and disruption. Over time, this leads to burnout and stalled growth.

In this LinkedIn Live, you’ll learn how to:

• Reset conversations that are going off track
• Communicate authority calmly and professionally
• Set boundaries that increase respect and follow-through
• Respond strategically instead of reacting emotionally
• Handle difficult people without letting them derail momentum or revenue
• Stay grounded and clear when others are unreasonable or emotionally reactive

If you’ve ever wondered how to transform moments with frustrating individuals or groups into mutual opportunities for growth, this session is a game-changer.

Make sure to RSVP below.

This is a conversation for leaders who are done tolerating behavior that drains their time, energy, and opportunity.

Hosted by:

Jason Rosado, 19-year business and leadership coach helping organizations grow revenue, reduce stress, and lead with clarity.

Jodee Blanco, New York Times bestselling author and communications expert specializing in bullying dynamics and emotionally intelligent communication.

Join us live and learn how strong leaders handle adults behaving badly.

How is AI doing with your clients in terms of customer service and support?

Is it driving your brand forward or driving it into the ground?

Check out what I wrote below in a recent experience I had with the brand Apple.

What have your experiences been - within your business or someone else's?

Ever feel like you’re doing the work, but not seeing the results

You’re not alone.

At my son’s summer basketball camp – during parent observation night – the coach was giving the classroom lecture, and said this to the 100 kids present:

🏀 Progress doesn’t always look like progress in the moment.

Sometimes it feels invisible.
Sometimes it feels like a backslide.
Sometimes you mess up and think you’ve lost all your momentum.

But that’s not how growth works.

It’s not about perfection – it’s about correction.

Fix the miss.
Repeat the habit.
Keep showing up.

That’s what creates traction.

And then he told a story that made the whole room go quiet:

Back when he was in high school, he started tallying every practice shot he took outside of team practices and games.

At lunch.
On weekends.
During timeouts when he and his friends played pickup games.

Five shots here, ten there – nothing dramatic in the moment.

But over time?

He racked up over 100,000 extra practice shots.

Imagine the edge that gave him over every kid who only trained during practices.

Those tiny, extra reps added up to something massive.

That’s how mastery is built.

I learned this same principle 19 years ago when I went through coach training – and it’s something my clients experience every week.

Not because they’re pushing harder or chasing new tactics...

But because they’re giving that extra ounce of follow-through.

The sales call they schedule instead of delaying
The habit they repeat five times in a month – not once
The courageous decision they lean into, even with fear in the room

What usually stops us from that follow through is very subtle, deep down emotions that trigger us, trying to keep us safe.

Clearing those blocks by being present to them, on a physical level, in your body, is the key to seeing your action steps through, and not getting sidetracked.

Just one of those follow-through actions can make all the difference, but adding them up, well…

They add up and multiply.

And the rewards almost always feel wildly out of proportion to the extra effort it took.

📌 If you’ve been showing up behind the scenes – and questioning if it’s working – consider this your proof.

And here's the question:

What little extra effort are you taking, or can you take, to make sure you're getting your shots in?

♻️♻️ Share this to encourage someone in your circle who’s smart, driven, and quietly doing the work.

Clear communication isn’t just a value – it’s a strategy for business growth.

Yesterday on our family trip in NYC, we toured the United Nations.

When I stepped into the General Assembly room, I got chills.

This is where leaders from across the globe – many with opposing priorities – come together to collaborate, negotiate, and solve problems that impact all of us.

And it reminded me of a truth I’ve seen over and over in nearly 20 years of coaching small business owners:

Your ability to grow isn’t just about how hard you work.

It’s about how well you work with others.

Your team.
Your partners.
Your network.

The best leaders don’t try to do it all themselves – they know when to listen, when to speak, and how to bring people together for a shared mission.

And it all starts with just one conversation.
When communication between you and one person becomes crystal clear, it creates trust.

That trust ripples outward, shaping your team, your clients, and every relationship connected to your business.

I’ve helped clients double or triple their business in under a year – not by working more hours, but by mastering collaboration and building a culture of trust.

Because whether it’s the global stage or your own business…

When we work together, we can accomplish anything.

📣 What’s one collaboration that you’re proud of that’s made a big difference for you this year?

I stopped trying to grow in one of my early jobs

The owner gave me a raise –
then told me I’d never go any further.

(I had to negotiate to get the raise.)

At the time, I had poured years into the business
and took on ownership-level responsibility.

What I heard in that moment?

→ "You’ve peaked."
→ "Don’t expect more."
→ "You’re done growing here."

And my motivation shut down.

Here’s what I learned:

Every transition is a chance to fuel growth – or shut it down.
How a leader frames change impacts how people see their future.

I later went on to lead large corporate teams –
and helped hire and develop 300+ employees.

And I’ve seen this same pattern play out in small businesses:
when communication is unclear or deflating, people check out.

When it’s grounded in trust and possibility, they rise.

Every leadership conversation I have now:

1. Opens the door for growth
2. Recognizes potential – not just performance
3. Leaves people feeling more capable, not more constrained

And makes *me* feel great in helping them!

Because a single comment can either fuel someone…
or make them shut down.

And if they’re not moving forward,
they are shutting down.

Leadership isn’t just about what you say.
It’s about what your people feel when they hear it.

♻️ Repost this to remind leaders:
Growth doesn’t come from raises – it comes from belief.

P.S... Has someone ever said something that made you stop trying? 👇

If you run a small firm with a few employees, and you don’t have the time to generate more sales...

I’ll coach you to create better time management systems and organizational structure to move away from daily project management and more into running your business, so you can see fast, exponential growth without putting in more hours.

"Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence."
– Vince Lombardi

📌 I heard that over the loudspeaker yesterday.
While I was being wheeled into the OR for a kidney stone procedure.

Yeah.
That’s how committed the universe is
to getting us the messages we need.

Here’s the thing:

Perfectionism and imposter syndrome
don’t show up when things are easy.
They show up right when you’re ready to grow.

Right when the business starts gaining more traction.
Right when you realize it’s time to start delegating more effectively and lean on your team to take on more.

That’s when the mental hurdles hit the hardest.

Am I really doing enough?
What if my team sees through me?
What if I don’t have all the answers,
and everything comes crashing down?

So what do we do?

We double down on doing it “right.”

Overthink.
Over-control.
Even over-deliver.
And it slows everything down.

The truth is, business growth doesn’t require perfect.

It requires clear:

Clear time.
Clear systems.
Clear processes.
Clear mind.
Clear emotions.

Clear trust - in yourself and in your team.

These let you take on more, without losing time with your family.
Without trading fulfillment for fatigue.

That clarity is what helps you
to help your team, and your business, to win.

It’s what lets revenue grow while you get healthier, more present, more free.

So yeah.
That quote hit different on an operating table.

Because I’ve lived the burnout that comes from trying to be perfect.

Even though I've been burned out from time to time,
I've always had a really good sense of how to create
trust, time, and systems that move me and my team forward.

And I’ve worked with enough other leaders - from small business to large corporate - to know:

Excellence becomes sustainable when
you chase perfection in the places that
count and let “done” be good enough for the rest.

And then let trust carry the way forward.

Perfectionism and imposter syndrome don’t show up when things are easy.

So why are they showing up for you now?
How are you going to take advantage of it?

Call now to connect with business.

Don’t just be a boss.

𝗕𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿. ✅

When small business growth stalls, it’s usually because you’re stuck managing most decisions, tasks, and relationships.

Too often, we think we’re leading when we’re really just holding it all together.

Real growth leadership means stepping out of the weeds – not away from your people – so others can step up with clarity, purpose, support, and direction.

And that starts with you – at the top.

But it’s a Catch-22, right?

How do you pull yourself out of the weeds and build the systems, authority, and autonomy your team needs – when you don’t even have time to think straight?

Here’s the shift:
𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿.

Let people know:
✅ Who you are at your core
✅ What you stand for
✅ How to be great followers for your leadership
✅ How to get the most out of your relationship
✅ And how you can serve them for what they want most

That’s when things start to move.

Nick, an acupuncturist, was able to double his patient load and triple his revenue in three months by streamlining his and his staff’s activities, especially by him focusing on the parts of business that he loved the most, and doing the mindset work to let go of the subconscious fears that we all face and that were holding him back.

Greg, a property developer, was able to go from working 80 hours a week to 2 hours a week in one month by improving his confidence as a leader and making adjustments to how his next-in-line took over more responsibilities and led the team while the business continued to grow

That kind of transformation doesn’t happen from working harder

It happens when you shift your mindset from “I have to do it all” to “I need to lead others to do it well.”

—> When you stop over-functioning and start trusting others to step into real responsibility...

—> Opening the lines of communication to give honest feedback that informs, instructs, educates, and empowers...

—> And letting go of the fear that keeps you from receiving honest feedback in return...

We often don’t realize we’re sending subtle signals that we’re not open – or not ready – to hear the truth.

And that not only shuts down the insight we need, it models to others that they shouldn’t be open to receiving it either.

Which, again, backfires and stifles growth.

But receiving and giving that honest feedback is what unlocks fast, sustainable, and inspiring growth.

It’s how you empower your team, open your blind spots, and evolve your leadership where it matters most.

𝗕𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿.
𝗕𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿.
𝗕𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿.

You’ll grow your business and your fulfillment –
while helping others rise alongside you.

You’re not just building a business.
You’re stepping into a new kind of leadership.
One that multiplies clarity, impact, and growth.

Most of that change starts with how you communicate.

Clarify your messaging.
Improve how you give direction.
Create more openness in how you and your team receive it.

That leads to:
More understanding.
More buy-in.
More follow-through.

So your team starts taking ownership – instead of waiting for your lead.

It builds real authority, stronger presence, and more autonomy across the board.

Which means fewer work hours and less day-to-day responsibility falling back on you.

That’s the work we do in the Service Business Accelerator.

You get personal, strategic support to map out the vision of your ideal business – your structure, your income goals, your team roles, and your day-to-day as the owner and leader.

We simplify how you communicate to increase trust, follow-through, and ownership from your team.

So your employees or contractors start taking more initiative – and more pride – in what they do. The quality of their work goes up. They have more opportunities to generate more revenue and more growth – financially, professionally, and personally.

You develop the leadership rhythms, conversations, and strategies that keep your team engaged, developing, and contributing to the business like they're owners – not just workers.

They don’t just stick around.
They grow with you.
They want the company to succeed – because they have success in it, too.

We also dig deep into the mindset work that makes that possible:

Letting go of the pressure to do it all
Learning how to receive support without guilt or fear
And stepping fully into the identity of a growth-driven leader

We typically work together over the course of 6 months.
Clients start seeing real results much sooner - often within the first month.

We usually meet three times a month for an hour or less.
You also get unlimited access to me between sessions.

You’ll get templates, exercises, and assignments as you need them that integrate directly into the work you’re already doing – so instead of adding to your plate, this process actually clears space and reduces your workload.

When these systems, skills, and strategies are in place – clients often double or triple their business within six months. And these are businesses ranging from $100K or less per year to $1M+ in annual revenue.

It’s not magic. But it is focused, intentional work.
Work that lightens your load
Frees up your time
And brings your business and your life into real, life-changing alignment

📌 The next step is to send me a DM if you're interested, and we'll do a quick Messenger chat to see if it's a good fit for you and your business.
