Not perfect, not easy, but solid. We’ve learned each other, pushed each other, and stayed through the hard moments instead of running from them. That means everything to me.

You’ve got a way of loving that’s strong and soft at the same time. When we’re good, we’re really good. When things get tough, we figure it out. That’s what makes this work.

Life has thrown our family a challenge that we never saw coming. My father, the Great Grandmaster of our martial arts school, has been diagnosed with stage 2 stomach cancer. Thankfully, it was caught early, and we’re optimistic about the road ahead, but it’s going to be a tough journey with surgeries, chemo, and ongoing treatment.
