Performed an isolation leak test on a system that had such a small leak that we couldn’t locate it with a leak detector or bubbles.

Success the condenser held, each line held, but the coil was leaking extremely slowly!

Enough to cost this homeowner lots of $$$ refilling every year yet none of the other companies offered or attempted to find the leak! They just kept filling it and she kept paying and being frustrated!

So glad we could be the company to end her frustration and get her back to a cool house!

Saved this customer so much $$$$! HOA said no to installing a mini-split in this townhome… so instead of paying $5-6,000...

Saved this customer so much $$$$! HOA said no to installing a mini-split in this townhome… so instead of paying $5-6,000 for a mini split we installed a direct vent and drain for his heat pump portable unit that had him all in for under $1300 including unit, vent and drain! For an insulated 2 car garage he couldn’t go wrong!

This is why we give options! I love saving people money!

This burns my ass! You can be an honest business, take care of your customers and still make a decent living. But when I go to a second opinion on this home where they told her she had a bad outdoor motor, capacitor, and a bad indoor board on a system that is only a few years old!

Hearing that after they gave her the following estimate they were pricing a new system threw up red flags!

I normally don’t call out companies by name but this kind of work gives us all a bad name!

So what did we find ACTUALLY WRONG?

The capacitor was bad, we changed it out!
The motor was good, the board was good!
apparently when doing diagnosis the tech must have removed the control wire for the reversing valve but put it in the wrong connection when putting back together so we corrected that!
Also we were able to pull and clean the blower and coil all for a fraction of the estimated cost!

AND NO WE DIDN’T QUOTE A REPLACEMENT SYSTEM!

Literally 1100 up and 1100 down🤦‍♂️!
With both thermostats on and calling for cooling it was actually doing ok, charge was good etc… the minute one thermostat gets satisfied is when the problems occur…
Trying to push 5 tons of air through the duct that normally supplies 2.5 tons of air is like blowing a mouthful of water through a coffee stir!

So many incompetent AC companies out there doing this kind of work makes our profession look bad! To top it all off they just put the outside unit in a couple of months ago! I told the homeowner that they needed to call them back and replace it at no charge as she already paid for it!

At least the indoor Air Handler could accommodate 1.5 all the way up to 5 tons! So they only have to replace the outside unit and properly size some ducts!

Found multiple leaks in this condensing coil, replaced and back to cooling, customer is extremely happy!

Couple that with Federal Tax incentives and our 0% financing financing for 18 or 36 months, there is no better time than now to upgrade that outdated and inefficient system!

We could just replace the equipment as the other companies that bid the job were going to do… but that isn’t how we do business!!!

We not only replaced this amazing customers two systems with high efficiency variable Speed Rheem Systems but we fixed her airflow issues as well!

Replacing equipment is just part of the issue usually! In this case we added dampers to all supply ducts to allow us to balance airflow now and in the future!

This problem child pictured was feeding two rooms and a bathroom off of one duct! This lessoned the volume of air fed to all three!
