It has officially been 30 days since a policy I submitted was approved with a graded death benefit instead of the immediate coverage we originally applied for.

Today, I received the news that after asking questions, gathering additional information, and working closely with the carrier, we successfully got the policy overturned to the FULL immediate death benefit coverage we applied for!

This is exactly why I never believe in simply accepting the first answer when it doesn't seem right for my client.

Many agents would have settled for the graded approval and moved on. I chose to advocate, follow up, and fight for the best possible outcome.

Today, that persistence paid off for my client and their family.

When it comes to protecting your loved ones, you deserve more than someone who just submits an application. You deserve someone who will advocate for you every step of the way.

One thing people forget about life insurance:

The insurance company is contractually agreeing to pay a death benefit after just ONE payment.

That’s a huge responsibility on their end.

The longer you wait to get coverage, the older you get, and usually the more expensive it becomes. Health changes, medications, and age all play a role in pricing and eligibility.

So don’t wait years and then get upset about the cost later. The best time to lock in coverage is while you’re younger and healthier.

Coverage gets easier and more affordable BEFORE you need it — not after.

One thing people don’t always realize about life insurance:

It’s not something you simply “shop around” for like a car or a phone plan. It’s something you have to qualify for.

As a broker, my job is to shop through multiple carriers to find the companies I believe are the best fit for your health, age, medications, and overall situation. But at the end of the day, the insurance company makes the final decision on approval.

That’s why waiting can be risky. Health changes can happen unexpectedly, and what you qualify for today may not be available later.
