Recent Dirt works. This ranching operation needed to expand their barn but didn't have the space to do so. Our big shovel made short work of the dirt removal to make the space.

Yesterday we finished up our time with the Fresno Regional Workforce Development Boards MC3 Program in Sonora.

It was an honor to participate in the introduction portion to ( basic) Heavy Equipment.

We completed two projects with the participants for Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County. The participants put out a great team effort and made a difference in this community.

The first project was the removal and clean up of unsafe/rundown structures on Habitats office lot.

The second project was a heavy wildfire fuel reduction project on one of their parcels in a forested neighborhood area.

Many of the participants have job offers or on the job training lined up as a result of this phenomenal program. Graduation day tomorrow!

Another great couple of days with the MC3 participants ( Fresno Regional Workforce Development Program) in the Sonora area.

Yesterday they got to play in some machines and today they started performing fuel reduction on a Habitat for Humanity lot.

Our boys ( Jordan Christian and Logan Christian) are stretching their skills as well finding they are pretty decent teachers.

WHEN EXPERIENCE MORE THAN MATTERS !

Crane removal of a hard leaning pine surrounded by PGE power lines and very close neighboring cabins.

Jordan is beyond expert level when it comes to technical. Crane service provided by Rock Wonders, Josh meets Jordan with that expert level technicality when the slightest move can be a make or break.

Reclaiming land that was over run with invasive willows and wild blackberries. Landowners could not walk, let alone see through these areas.

Open space and beautiful clear views are a result of our work.

As a bonus we opened up a silted drainage creating proper flow and eliminating overflow that had created an erosion problem of their meticulously cared for outer yard.

These owners are educated and dedicated to the proper follow up spraying to effectively the prevent regrowth that will inevitably occur the next two seasons.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the Greater Sierra Forestry Core Graduation at Yosemite High School.
Our community is very fortunate to have a free jobs training program right here in Oakhurst. Graduates receive 400 hours of training and numerous certifications related to Forestry and Fire fighting requirements. One third of these students already have job offers.
Two weeks ago we attended the first Inaugural Class kick off for the Valley Builds Construction Cohort also located in Oakhurst and put on by the Yosemite Adult School program . While the title is Valley Builds the program is focused on our mountain area. Great things going on!!!
We look forward to partnering with these amazing programs providing on the job training!

Ohhh Mondays.....they do build character. Last Monday 3 pieces of equipment went down. Our crew rocks at "on the mountain, in field repairs". It's the name of the game. These big beasts take a serious beating.
