At www.MatchMakingMusicians.com we believe that safety comes first when online dating. First dates bring about a lot of emotions. Among them are anxiety, excitement, and fear of the unknown. They can cause butterflies in our stomachs or make us swear off of indefinitely. While stressing over outfit choices and posing in front of the mirror, rarely do we think about putting appropriate cautionary measures in place. We have taken the leg work out of that for you.
1. Never give out your address.
2. Give your a blueprint of your evening.
3. Park in a discreet location.
4. Bring at least $50 in case you need it for a taxi.
5. Limit drinking to a two drink maximum.

Do you send a thank you text the day after a date?

If you had a good time and want to see the person again, send a text saying something to the effect of, “Thanks again for a fun time last night!” What are other variations of this? The flirty thanks: “Thanks again for a great time last night. Too bad we had to go to work today ;)” The suggesting-the-second-date thanks: “Thanks again for a great time last night. I’ll be sure to ask if you’re allergic to seafood next time :)” If the feeling was mutual, it’ll put a smile on her face to see your name pop up on her phone. First dates are the hardest emotionally so make it more comfortable for the second date. Send the Thank You text!
