We left last week feeling inspired and deeply thankful.
Beyond the sessions & networking, the week was defined by the incredible heart of the transit community.
It was a privilege to join in several moving tributes and celebrations of service like the memorial of Kelly Langstaff, whose kindness, warmth, and "good vibes" will never be forgotten by those she served, to recognizing leaders like Chris Ackerman, whose dedication continues to push our industry forward.
We were also profoundly moved to help present the 2026 Frontline Heroes Award to the teams from Transdev and the City of Pasadena. When the Eaton Fire erupted, these operators acted as first responders, driving through thick smoke and active fire zones to evacuate hundreds of seniors to safety. Their extraordinary courage and resolve that night saved lives and reminded us all of the vital role transit plays in times of crisis.
At Q'Straint, we don't just provide safety solutions; we support a vast community. Thank you to everyone at CALACT for such a powerful and memorable event.
