I almost walked right past this... but I’m actually watching a dragonfly being born.

This isn’t a dead insect stuck to the wall. It’s the empty skin from a dragonfly nymph that spent most of its life underwater. The adult has just emerged and is pumping fluid into its wings before its very first flight. For the next hour or so it’ll stay completely vulnerable while its wings harden.

As a pest professional, I love finding moments like this. Not every insect around a home is a pest—dragonflies are incredible predators that help control mosquitoes and other flying insects.

We walked into that conference as a brand‑new company with big dreams… and walked out with an even bigger vision.

Being surrounded by leaders from all over the world expanded our mindset in ways we didn’t expect. It stretched our imagination, sharpened our direction, and helped us pivot into the company we were meant to become.
