Jeweld Legacy Group

Jeweld Legacy Group Based in Oakland, Jeweld Consulting helps government agencies, nonprofits, and grassroots leaders build a more just, equitable future. Ms.

We help people and institutions identify the jewels that exist within and assist them in achieving goals beyond what they can see. We are a consulting firm that focuses on creating alliances, leadership and systems for sustainable organizations. We have over 20 years of experience in building bridges, creating innovative and sustainable programs within and among correctional institutions, federal

programs, non-profit and faith based/related organizations and coalitions. We empower and educate those who serve the criminal justice population and the children, families and communities impacted. Jeweld Legacy Group has unparalleled knowledge of capacity building and leadership training to help clients make better-informed decisions when it comes to program development and their company’s growth potential. We advise community agencies on a variety of program models, recruitment and retention strategies. Our collaboration with other consultants offers our clients a broad range of products and information that will highlight existing legacies and buried jewels. It’s our unique expertise in the culture of corrections, relationship management and strategic business alliances that guarantee win/win results within public systems, jails and prisons. After many years of working in the nonprofit world, Carol F. Burton, Founder and Principal of Jeweld Legacy Group, learned that her passion was for finding those specific components that ultimately provide sustainable enterprises in social service and criminal justice organizations. Burton is skilled in financial analysis and forecasting, useful information management systems, strategy development and in building results-driven collaborations.
