Hey Mommas-
I’ve seen a lot of frustration from being stuck indoors during corona virus. It’s a topic Our nannies have struggled with as well. Below is a list of some ideas to inspire you!

~Sweet Peas Agency

-Sign up for your local library's summer reading program. Many are offering different programming and prizes this year due to the pandemic, but remember that the biggest reward is the reading itself.

-Neighborhood scavenger hunt. You can find list online to help or create your own.

-A neighborhood themed bingo card.

-Sidewalk chalk art.

-collect leaves, flowers, and other found object to make prints with.

-Build cardboard creations with those amazon boxes.

-Make ice cream in ziploc bags.

-A cooking challenge ala food network

-Backyard camping.

-Nature hike-you can add a bird identifying challenge

-make your own museum with kids artwork.

-Check out nasa astronauts reading from the international space station.

-Make slime!

-Make some popcorn and have movie night!

-Check our your local drive in movie theatre.

-go to the Oakland Zoo.

The Oakland Zoo is asking for help from the community. Attached is the directions and type of plants needed to feed their animals. Thank you!

Browse is high growing vegetation, particularly branches with leaves, used as food and enrichment for elephants, giraffe, chimps and many other animals at Oakland Zoo. Though browse is not essential to our animals health, it is valuable for happiness and well-being.
