Highway 79 inside the Oakwood city limits will be shut down to any thru traffic for several hours due to a loaded box trailer on fire . There will be extensive cleanup. Please find an alternate route

Saturday was an awesome day, thanks to all of our very generous supporters that came out to our annual Fish Fry Fundraiser !! This was our best turnout ever for our Fish Fry!! It seemed that everyone decided to come at the same time! We apologize for the long wait in line but everyone received fresh cooked food!! We appreciate all of you that continue to come out in support of our department and to all of the new faces that were there for the first time , we welcome you and hope to see you again!!
We extend a big thank you to Anthony’s Restaurant and Glen Barrileaux for donating our food supplies!!
We have an awesome group of volunteers, friends, family, and community members that donate their time to pull all of this together every time! You all are the best!!
