If you use moisture-sensitive resins or high-precision assemblies, uncontrolled humidity can cause major quality issues before your product ships.😃👍

Some plastics absorb moisture from the air and need careful handling. Without the right controls, humidity can cause molding problems, size changes, surface flaws, weak bonds, and long-term reliability issues.

At Artemis Plastics, we reduce these risks by working with sensitive parts in a dedicated dry room.

Here’s how our dry-room helps protect your products:

▪ Controlled Humidity: We keep sensitive materials in carefully managed conditions to ensure they maintain their shape, look good, and work as intended.

▪ Specialized Handling: Our dry-room and certified cleanrooms work together, supported by a strong quality system, to meet the needs of demanding healthcare and industrial projects.

▪ Integrated Packaging and Tracking: Sensitive parts go straight into packaging in a controlled process, with full tracking from raw resin to finished product.

▪ One Accountable Operation: We do molding, assembly, and packaging all in-house, so there are no extra transfers and much less risk of damage.

Don’t let humidity or other factors affect your materials or delay your launch. Work with a team that can handle your most sensitive materials safely and on schedule.

Is moisture control important for your next project? Contact Artemis Plastics today to talk about your needs.

If a design needs a metal thread in a plastic part or a soft grip on a hard surface, the usual way is to mold the parts separately and put them together later. Every extra step means more handling, more chances for errors, more inspections, and a higher risk that the joint could fail. 😃👍

At Artemis Plastics, we use insert molding and overmolding to build those features right into the part during molding. This cuts down on extra assembly and gives you a more complete part straight from the press.

Insert molding: We mold plastic around metal inserts, threads, and pins that are already in place. This means you don’t need extra press-fitting or separate fastening later.

Overmolding: We add a second material over a prepared base to make built-in grips, seals, and strain relief. By choosing the right materials and design, we make sure these features are durable.

Tight-tolerance placement: Precision handling places inserts in the same spot every time, which is important for medical and industrial uses that need repeatable results.

Material guidance: With experience in more than 50 types of plastics, we help you pick the right resin, insert shape, and molding process for your needs.

Why add extra assembly, extra vendors, and extra inspections when an integrated molding process can give you the finished features you need?

Did you know the dimensions inside an injection mold are often deliberately made larger than the final plastic part?😃👍

Molten thermoplastic fills the mold cavity, then shrinks as it cools and solidifies. To ensure the finished part lands at its specified dimensions, toolmakers calculate the expected shrinkage and machine the cavity and core features to compensate.

For many materials, shrinkage is often around 0.5% to 3%, though it also varies by resin grade, fillers, part geometry, and processing conditions.

That is why the same part design may need different tooling compensation for nylon than for ABS. If the shrinkage assumption is off by even a fraction of a percent, a tight-tolerance feature can end up out of spec.

The precision of a molded part is engineered into the tool long before the first shot is made.

Getting a component ready for market usually means extra work after molding. 😃👍

Every time you send parts to another supplier, shipping costs, risks, and delays can add up.

At Artemis Plastics, we handle all secondary operations ourselves. Your parts go from molding to final assembly in one place.

Advanced joining: We use methods like solvent bonding for tight seals, ultrasonic welding, and ultraviolet bonding to assemble complex parts without screws or extra hardware.

▪ Annealing: We reduce internal stresses to make parts tougher and more durable for challenging uses.

▪ Surface decoration: Hot stamping and multi-color pad printing let us add sharp branding to even the most complex shapes.

▪ Ultrasonic cleaning: We clean tiny grooves and channels without damaging the part’s surface.

Simplify your process by working with one trusted partner from start to finish.

Many teams find out the hard way that the biggest delays don’t happen in one process, but in the gaps between vendors. 😃👍

Every time your project moves from a design shop to a mold maker, then to a molder and assembler, you lose time, add costs, and take on more risk.

At Artemis Plastics, we close those gaps by handling everything under one roof.

Here’s what your project looks like with one team supporting you:

- Design & prototyping: We help refine your concept for manufacturing and quickly test it with 3D-printed prototypes, so any problems show up early, not during tooling.

- In-house tooling: Our mold makers build your tooling here, so there are no extra markups and you get fast changes when you need them.

- Production that scales: We move easily from your first parts to full-volume molding, checking quality every time.

- Assembly & finishing: Cleanroom assembly, solvent bonding, laser engraving, and pad printing turn molded parts into a finished product ready for the shelf.

- Packaging & delivery: We complete the job with packaging and reliable domestic lead times, so your product arrives on schedule.

From the first sketch to the final shipment, you work with one team that really knows your project.

Meet Joseph!😃👍

Joseph helps our customers turn ideas into products that can actually be manufactured while also designing tools that improve how work gets done behind the scenes.

One project he's especially proud of involved recreating engineering models from only a handful of sample parts, enabling new tooling to be built and production to move forward.

He believes great teamwork starts with listening, sharing ideas, and celebrating each other's successes.

Interesting Fact: Outside of work, he referees competitive soccer and not too long ago officiated his first tournament at Disney.

Here’s a simple truth about injection molding: wasted material is wasted money, and your customers are noticing it too. 😃👍

Every bit of scrapped resin, every rejected part, and every oversized order that becomes obsolete adds to your project’s cost and environmental footprint.

At Artemis Plastics, material efficiency isn’t just a bonus. We make it part of how we design, tool, and produce your parts.

Here’s how we help you waste less and get more value from your parts:

▪ Use less material by design: We adjust part shape, wall thickness, and resin selection so each part uses only what it needs, nothing extra.

▪ Reuse what we can: When your specs allow, we reclaim and reprocess sprues and runners rather than discarding usable material.

▪ Prevent scrap before it happens: Our in-house tools and careful process control reduce defects, so fewer parts are rejected from the start.

▪ Order smarter: By choosing smaller, more frequent domestic runs, you avoid scrapping a warehouse full of parts when a design changes.

▪ Less waste means lower costs and a supply chain your sustainability team can be proud of.

Let’s find out where waste is hiding in your process. Contact us today!

With high-precision injection molding, saving money shouldn’t mean lowering your standards. 😃👍

You need a partner who reviews your whole product lifecycle to find smart ways to save.

At Artemis Plastics, we do more than just mold parts. We build cost savings into every stage of your project, from initial design through to the finished package.

Here’s how we help you get the most value from your manufacturing:
- Optimizing Design for Manufacturability (DFM): We improve your part’s design and pick the right materials before making molds. Finding problems early helps you avoid costly changes and reduce waste.
- Leveraging In-House Tooling: We handle mold design, fabrication, and maintenance in-house, so you don’t pay extra for outside help. This means faster turnaround and quick repairs, helping you avoid expensive downtime.
- Transitioning to Lean Inventory: We help you move away from risky, large overseas shipments. Switching to smaller, more frequent local orders frees up your cash and lowers your storage and insurance costs.
- Consolidating Secondary Operations: We bring cleanroom assembly, solvent bonding, pad printing, and sterile packaging into our production process. By cutting out extra vendors, we reduce shipping risks and lower your logistics costs.

You don’t have to deal with a complicated, costly supply chain. Work with a manufacturer who keeps your production agile, efficient, and profitable.

Want to lower your costs without losing precision? Let’s talk about your project goals. Contact Artemis Plastics today!
