Lately I’ve been wanting to come in early and stay late to have some quiet time in the shop. I have such an amazing team and they do a phenomenal job keeping up with everything!

But between construction, wholesale orders, furniture building, and just generally being open 7 days a week with customers… it’s been hard to find times to just SIT with the space and enjoy it.

So last night, I sent everyone home and closed up and did some organizing and cleaning with the lights off. You really allowed my mind to reset and figure out what we need to be ordering next and seeing the flow of traffic in this new configuration.

it’s really therapeutic and centering to have that calm before (or after!) the storm.

Finally did a quick tour video before the shop opened. More to come! We are still setting up tables and building bookshelves and trying to dig out of all the boxes in our office.

I also invite you to join us next Thursday, October 1 for a grand reopening celebration here in the shop from 5 to 8 PM! We will have drinks and food and some fun giveaways for all our favorite customers and friends. ❤️

Also worth noting - we are now open 7 days a week from 10 AM to 6 PM!

Still TBD on our big party date. With craft show coming next week, I need to focus on getting ready for that.

P.S. Hobonichi planners are LIVE!
