⭐️ No white dolphin today… but we had another incredible visitor!
This giant Sea Star stopped by our dock, and it’s the largest one we’ve ever seen! (Our pilings are quite large). It’s been a while since we’ve spotted one in Ocean City. We believe it’s an Eastern Common Sea Star.
🌊 Fun fact: Despite the name, starfish aren’t actually fish at all! They’re echinoderms—the same family as sea urchins and sand dollars.
❓What do you call them… Sea Stars or Starfish? Have you seen one locally? We’d love to hear when and where!
