We have received some concerns about the recent cut waterline in the Ramona area due to a cable contracting company. While we are the company that provides the Fiber Service to both the Ramona and Ochelata school campuses, we are not the company currently doing construction around the Ramona campus. We would like to thank all the concerned citizens that have reached out to us.

Recently there has been some misinformation reaching our office stating that Totah is/plans to leave some of our current service areas. We would like to state that no such action is taking place.

Rather, the opposite is happening! We are currently working on additional funding to continue to upgrade to an all fiber network. This will be an extension of the fiber we have in service today and replaces all our copper cable. We are still the carrier of last resort (local company required to provide the service) in all our service areas. We plan to stay that company into the future.

If you ever have any concerns, please call us at (918) 535-2208 for questions.

Independence Day is one of our favorite days of the year here at Totah. The best parade in the Country happens right down main street in Ochelata. Along with a truck in the parade throwing out candy and koozie bundles, we will have a table in front of the office handing out goodies as well. Including a limited run of Totah Independence day Richardson 112 hats, bubbles for kids, and more.

Come by and see our GM Mitch Gailey his family and other employees before the parade or right after if supplies last before the kids gams take place down the street at Navitas.

During an outage yesterday we got to capture this picture after the work was finished. This is 3 Generations of Gentlemen from a wonderful family that have made the choice to work for Totah.

Mike Sanders joined our family as the Elk City Service Tech (Phone man) in '97 and retired in '22. Brandon Sanders started working here in '19 as our Elk City service tech alongside Mike. Spencer Sanders Started in '21 and works in our main office in Ochelata, Ok as an IT Tech. Finally Brock Sanders (Brandon's Oldest) just started his initial training this week in a Service Tech position.

This photo we know means a lot to them but it means a lot to our company as well. This is 3 Generations, however there have actually been 4 Generations of Sanders that have called Totah home. Ronnie Sanders Mikes dad worked for us from 1958-1998 and was still called upon by his son and grandsons if there were ever questions about "old cable routes" up until his passing in 2022.

To the Sanders family thank you for choosing to call Totah home and thank you for your continued hard work and efforts to bring our customers great service.

Side Note: Mike did come out of retirement (very briefly) yesterday to drop some knowledge on the crews of how the cables were placed "back in the day". As always when we have a retiree tell us something about the good ole days it's amazing to see everyone gather around to absorb the information.

Happy Monday to our Customers.

We’re excited to announce an an update on our Ochelata Service area. Totah has been providing a service to Ochelata since 1954 from Landline to Dial up to DSL and now Fiber. We strive to provide the best service to our customers. In our Ochelata exchange we are fully fiber to the home except a small dead end road N3960/Stoneridge addition. This area has a crew coming to place fiber once we are finished with a state project west of town on Hwy 11. If you are within our service area and wish to check availability for fiber service, do not hesitate to call us at (918) 535-2208.

We have also received word from some concerned citizens about crews in town putting fiber up on poles. Totah does not use any aerial fiber. All of our cable is safely buried below the ground, and these are not Totah contractors. We strive to provide the most reliable service to our customers, and find that fiber buried below the ground is safer during the extreme weather we get here in tornado alley.

If you ever have any questions or concerns about crews or service in town, do not hesitate to reach out at (918) 535-2208.

We appreciate your business and look forward to serving the Ochelata area for years to come!

Please Share this info with your neighbor.
