Another damage from the hurricane! 🌀
Our client contacted us with water damages in her front room, coming in through an exterior door and several windows. The floor and the lower portion of her walls had been compromised due to the incoming water. Microbial growth had developed under the floor and inside the walls.
Removal of all affected material had to take place, including 4 feet of the lower walls, floor, baseboards, and the door frame of the exterior door. Detailed cleaning took place, and the floor was sealed.
We took extra precaution to completely seal off that room from the rest of the home, and to run air scrubbers on both sides of the containment to keep the client as safe as possible, and to be sure she wouldn’t be breathing in any affected material or drywall dust.
After two days of letting our equipment run, we were able to pull our equipment and allow the homeowner to start her journey on reconstruction!
