So, a couple months ago I had a customer ask me to build a mantle out of two old pieces. The longest of which we made the mantle, and the shorter we made the corbels.
There was a lot of sanding involved, but the outcome was well worth the time.
The customer was pleased, which makes me happy!

So I cut up 8 hickory logs and two red oaks for this customer.
After loading this VERY HEAVY lumber on his truck and stepping back, I realized just how much work I put into this load of lumber.
There were some gorgeous pieces of lumber in his order.
I was glad to have been able to saw them up for him.
So boards were 34 inches wide!
There are going to be some beautiful pieces made from this order.

I LOVE cutting lumber!!!
Here I have cut some hickory into 1.25” thick planks as well as some 4”x4” for table legs.
This lumber is VERY pretty!!!
Also, there is some very wide Red Oak Slabs as well as some 1/4 sawn Red Oak planks.
