This photo would pop up on my memories today of all days… 😞
As I’m sure most of you are aware there has been an absolute tragedy in our community today. Payne’s gym has had a massive fire break out, the destruction total is not clear yet but it is devastating nonetheless.
The outpouring of support from my clients have been incredible and I just want to say I am so very thankful for each and every one of y’all.
This past May marked my 9th full time year as a trainer at Payne’s and because of my amazing clients I have been able to enjoy a lucrative and rewarding career here. I’ve never had much support elsewhere but it hasn’t been needed as my faithful clients have been my number one and most important support system. No matter what they have had my back and I will always continue to do right by them.
As of now I am unsure what the future holds but I am a firm believer in hard work and I am trying to get in contact with a few local gym owners to figure out a short and possibly long term solution to this.
I will do my best to find my clients and I a new gym that we can call home and get back to bettering ourselves mentally & physically.
In the mean time, if there is ever a time to emphasis supporting local businesses this is it.
Corporate gyms can replace everything with huge funds. Local gyms cannot. But the local gyms and business alike are what drive our city and what we as residents take pride in.
I encourage everyone to support local and work to rebuild what has been lost.
To all of my clients and people that have had my back, thank you forever. This is just another curveball in life that we will all overcome. 🙏🏻
