The Northern Wasatch Home Builders Association (NWHBA) is a non-profit trade association, organized with the purpose of supporting the construction industry in Davis, Weber, Morgan, and Box Elder counties. The NWHBA was formally established in 1995 with the consolidation of the Weber Basin HBA and the Davis County HBA. Both organizations considered merging to better meet the needs of the construct
ion industry. Now 15 years later, our association could not be stronger. With a membership of approximately 400, we represent all aspects of the construction industry, from the finest builders, materials supply companies, specialized tradesmen, and the related ancillary services to bring your new home to market. Membership in our association is purely voluntary and is comprised of industry related people dedicated to "giving back" of their time and resources for the betterment of the industry, the profession and our community. We are largely volunteer based with an elected leadership and volunteer committees. We strive to bring the best quality services to our members and have a dedicated army to ensure that your membership experience is outstanding in every way! Our focus is twofold: To support our members in their business activities, and to support our local communities: Our members enjoy services that include educational offerings to meet relicensing requirements, specialized construction education, business and employment management. Our offerings are specifically geared for the construction industry. We also provide networking functions, government affairs support, public relations, charitable giving, and host the annual NWHBA Parade of Homes. Additionally, we support our community with charitable projects and have organized the NWHBA Charitable Foundation as separate entity to help meet the community's housing and educational needs through our grant process. Currently we support Weber State University and the Ogden/Weber and the Davis county Applied Technology Centers through educational grants. We support disadvantage families through our Have a Heart homebuilding program, now in its eleventh year, Weber County School District, and disadvantage families and veterans in their housing needs. The association, and our members, are dedicated to providing the public the best in housing, ethical standards, and community support. In short, our members are dedicated to serving you.
