THE WEEKEND MAY BE WINDING DOWN… BUT AROUND HERE, DEER SEASON IS JUST GETTING GOOD!

As another weekend in the woods comes to an end, we hope y’all made some good memories especially those families who got to experience Youth Hunt weekend together. 🧡

Now it’s back to the cutting table for us! 🔪🥩 There are deer to process, burger to grind, sausage to make, orders to package, and customers waiting on that favorite text… “Your deer is ready!” 📲😂

Cecil and I are thankful every single time you pull into our driveway and trust our family with your harvest. Another week of deer season means another week of doing what we love.

SOME OF THE BIGGEST BLESSINGS IN THE WOODS DON’T COME WITH ANTLERS. ❤️

As we wake up this Sunday morning, we hope yesterday gave families something much bigger than a successful hunt time together.

Maybe your young hunter got their first deer. Maybe they saw one and couldn’t get the shot. Maybe y’all sat there for hours and saw absolutely nothing. 😂 But you were together, and those are the mornings they’ll remember.

Deer season will come and go, but the memories made with our children and grandchildren are priceless. ❤️

This morning, Cecil and I are thanking God for family, another hunting season, our customers, and the opportunity to watch another generation fall in love with the outdoors. 🙏🦌

TODAY THE WOODS BELONG TO THE NEXT GENERATION — IT’S YOUTH HUNT OPENING DAY!

The alarm went off early, the camo is on, and hopefully there’s one excited young hunter headed to the woods this morning! 🧡

Parents and grandparents, today isn’t just about filling a tag. Teach them safety. Teach them respect. Let them ask questions. Take way too many pictures. And soak up every minute. ❤️

Whether they harvest their very first deer or simply come home with a story to tell, today is about making memories they’ll carry for the rest of their lives.

SOMEDAY THEY’LL TELL SOMEONE, “THAT’S WHO TAUGHT ME TO HUNT.”

Think about who first took you into the woods. Who taught you to sit quietly, watch the wind, respect your fi***rm, respect the animal, and appreciate the outdoors?

This weekend, you may get the chance to become that person in a young hunter’s story. ❤️

Don’t worry about whether they get the biggest buck or even get a deer at all. Pack the snacks, answer the hundred questions 😂, take the pictures, and enjoy having them sitting beside you.

Deer season comes back every year. Their childhood doesn’t. 🥹🦌

THEY WON’T ALWAYS BE LITTLE ENOUGH TO FOLLOW YOU INTO THE WOODS… TAKE THEM WHILE YOU CAN.

Youth Hunt starts October 10! 🧡

Hunters, get those kids out in the woods. Teach them safety, respect for the outdoors, patience, responsibility, and the traditions that were probably taught to you.

But most importantly… spend the time with them. ❤️

One day those little boots following behind you will be grown, and you’ll wonder where the time went. The biggest trophy from a youth hunt may not be the deer at all it may be the memories you make together. 🦌

Put the phones away. Sit together. Talk. Laugh. Teach them. Make the memories while you can.

We take pride in every step because we want your order leaving our shop fresh, protected and ready for your family to enjoy. 🥩🙌

Now THIS is one of the best parts of the deer! 🦌 We’re trimming up a beautiful backstrap exactly how our customer ordered it, and we have a feeling this one won’t be sitting in the freezer very long. 😂🔥

A little seasoning, a hot grill, and supper is DONE! 🙌
