The Venango County Firefighter's and Fire Chief's Association exists to help our area's firefighters and fire departments! Several areas in which the Association serve our firefighters are: coordination of training classes; development of county-wide policies and agreements; liaison with Venango County Emergency Management Agency and Venango County 9-1-1 Center; to monitor and comment on pending l

egislation at the County and State level which may affect firefighters; to act as a public voice for our brave firefighters.

I apologize for the very late notice. I just found out that the Relay for Life First Responders Lap will be tomorrow night (Saturday, June 27th) at 7:00 PM at the Oil City High School track. Please wear some type of clothing signifying that you are a responder, and NO BOOTS ON THE TRACK. Firefighters are encouraged to wear their bunker gear, including SCBA if you wish. Donations are highly encouraged (after all, this is a fundraiser!), and can be made out to the American Cancer Society. Normally the Waterloo Walkers booth handles the donations for us.
