Today at Junior Leaders Camp: Ag & Forestry Day. 🌾

These are two of Okeechobee’s biggest industries, and today our students got a real look inside it.

Our middle schoolers visited Walpole, Inc. to get a behind-the-scenes look at the trucking and logistics side of agriculture. Then they headed to the Okeechobee Livestock Market for lunch!

Our high schoolers spent the morning with Okeechobee District Florida Forest Service - Okeechobee District to learn about one of the county’s most important natural resources. Then wrapped up at Brown Cow Sweetery for lunch.

This is what Ag & Forestry day is all about! Getting students out of the classroom and into the industries that have defined this county for generations. 🤠
