🌟 The Compliment Challenge 🌟

A simple thing you can do that will have lasting impact:

👉 Compliment your children, your spouse, your co-workers, your employees, your friends in the presence of others.

Today at the bank I gave my wife several compliments in front of the teller. My wife quickly drew in towards me and started rubbing my arm. The teller kept saying, “Aw, so cute! Aw, so cute!”

That moment reminded me of the power of the tongue—our words carry weight, and when spoken publicly, they multiply their effect.

📖 “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” – Proverbs 18:21
📖 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11

💡 Here’s the challenge:

Take a moment in the days to give someone a sincere compliment in front of others.

Watch how it changes the atmosphere and strengthens the bond.

🌑➡️✨ Don’t Dismiss the Dark Moments

People often tell me I have beautiful prayers… but what they don’t see is that those prayers were birthed in the pits.

Only a little over two years ago, I was in one of the darkest seasons of my life. I felt like all hope was gone.

But it was in that pit that I pressed into God’s presence.

And there, He met me.

Out of the tears and the wrestling came powerful proclamations, prophetic declarations, and moment-by-moment meditations on His goodness.

The very moments we wish we could erase are often the ones God uses to strengthen our spirit and give us a voice to comfort others.

📖 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” — Psalm 23:4

📖 “We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” — Romans 5:3–4

📖 “[God] comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” — 2 Corinthians 1:3–4

If you’re in a pit right now—don’t dismiss it.

What feels like the end may actually be the birthplace of your most powerful prayers—prayers that not only sustain you, but will one day comfort and strengthen others
