It may be hot, but fall will be sneaking up on us all! You’ve seen Hobby Lobby already cycle from fall to Christmas and Walmart putting out the Halloween candy! Time to start checking those ovens and get them calibrated or repaired before there’s family flooding your kitchen! Waiting until November means a back ordered part will ruin your Thanksgiving plans! And parts houses get lower on stock as the holidays approach!

If your gas stove burners don’t seem to burn as strongly as they used to, they may just need a simple adjustment! Many gas stove burners have a means for an appliance tech to tweak how much gas comes out of the burner.
If your burners aren’t what they used to be, give me a call! If it’s just an adjustment that they need, I can get all 4 (or 5) burners back to their old selves for as little as $80!

🥵 103° Appliance Tip:

Your refrigerator has to dump heat to keep your food cold. If the coils underneath or behind it are packed with dust and pet hair, it’s trying to cool your food while wearing a winter coat.

That may seem dramatic. After all, it’s probably in the climate controlled house, right?

Without getting all techie on you, the radiation of a hot day cuts through your house. When you’re talking about a freezer trying to maintain 0 degrees, radiation is experienced as heat inside your fridge. It may seem to you that it’s safe from the outside heat, but it’s not.

A quick cleaning can help it run more efficiently during this heat.
