Dunlap Codding welcomes its newest attorney, Justin Valentine. With a unique background in chemical engineering and years of experience as a patent attorney and criminal prosecutor, Justin applies his deep understanding of patent law to maximize the scope of protection for client inventors.

In addition to his IP experience, Justin previously served as the Chief Criminal Prosecutor for the Quapaw Nation and successfully prosecuted more than a hundred misdemeanor and felony matters in the course of a year while leading the development of a new criminal code for the Nation. He was also the Assistant Attorney General for the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, prosecuting felony offenses resulting from the historic McGirt Supreme Court decision which reestablished the Nation’s reservation boundaries.

Dunlap Codding Announces Three New Attorneys Have Joined the Firm

Hannah Edmondson, Jeannie Pinkston, and Jessie Sadlon have joined the firm in Oklahoma City, bolstering its ability to serve intellectual property clients.

Hannah received her J.D., summa cm laude, from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she was an articles editor for Oklahoma Law Review. She has a B.A. in English, summa cm laude, from Oklahoma State University Honors College.

Jeannie received her J.D., summa cm laude, from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she was a note editor for Oklahoma Law Review, and her B.S. in Chemistry, magna cm laude, also from the University of Oklahoma. A registered patent attorney for more than 25 years, Jeannie has assisted individual entrepreneurs, inventors, and companies in securing and protecting intellectual property rights.

Jessie earned her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law where she served on the Nebraska Law Review, and her M.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a B.S. in Medical Biology from the University of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine.

Jim John (pictured center), an attorney at Dunlap Codding, is a recent graduate of LOYAL OKC, Class XVII. The LOYAL (Linking Oklahoma’s Young Adult Leaders) program is a short-format skills-based program intended for young adults just beginning their community service careers. Up to 64 class members are selected, representing a broad mix of occupations and backgrounds.
The recent class included individuals from such diverse organizations as the Oklahoma City Thunder, Boeing, the Chickasaw Nation, the Homeless Alliance, and the University of Oklahoma.

A team of Dunlap Codding shareholders completed the Mixed Corporate Marathon Relay, a part of the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, on April 29, 2023. The Marathon’s mission is “to celebrate life, reach for the future, honor the memories of those killed in the 1995 bombing and unite the world in hope.” Dunlap Codding’s team of attorneys are pictured from left to right: Evan Talley, Emily Campbell, Nick Rouse, Elizabeth Isaac, and Marc Brockhaus.

Dunlap Codding Welcomes Tessa Clinton as its Newest Attorney. Tessa’s practice focuses on copyright and trademark acquisition and protection. Before working with Dunlap Codding, Tessa held various jobs drawing on her artistic and organizational talents. She implemented marketing and sales initiatives, developed social media strategies, organized filming schedules, and trained teams on design concepts and visual display standards. Her prior work experiences allow her to serve clients creatively and strategically.

Tessa received her J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law and her B.S. in Apparel Design and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University. She participated in the Fairfield Study Abroad Program, studying in Florence, Italy.
