Grocers and other food industry members from across the state gathered to advocate at our Annual Grocers Day at the Capitol yesterday!

Those in attendance had a chance to hear from Speaker McCall, Senator Thompson, Senator Paxton, and Representative Fetgatter before breaking to speak with other elected officials about key issues we are facing.

Thank you to everybody who came out- we are stronger because of your efforts!

Thank you Schraad Sales & Marketing for this generous donation in honor of your parents to our Education Foundation! This gift of not one, but TWO, Endowed Scholarships will make an impact for generations to come.

Schraad Sales & Marketing CEO Bill Schraad Jr. and CFO Nancy Schraad recently presented a $30,000 check to the Oklahoma Grocers Association Education Foundation in honor of Bill Schraad Sr., founder of Schraad Sales & Marketing. This check will endow two new scholarships – the “William T. Schraad, Sr. education scholarship” and the “Ethel L. Schraad education scholarship”, available annually to the children and associates of the Oklahoma Grocers Association.

On behalf of the Schraad family, we are deeply thankful for all of the generous donations from friends and colleagues to these scholarship funds. Bill and Ethel would be both honored and humbled by the amount of support received, and they would be thrilled knowing the impact that these scholarships will have on our future leaders for years to come.
