That's Cora in the background, and she's part of the reason this caption exists.
We have 8 people touching every piece of content and around 150 pieces going out every single month. At that volume, you hit a ceiling fast. Systems that worked when we were smaller start to crack, and if you don't have real process built to scale, something breaks.
This summer we brought in an ops manager to help us raise that ceiling. It has been a lot of work. It has also been some of the most fruitful work we've done all year. She came in, looked at how we operate, and immediately found about 6 things that weren't scalable. Then she brought me solutions, not just problems. We're implementing them now.
One of them: a real analytics dashboard for clients. Our monthly reporting has not been where it needed to be. The numbers rarely connected back to the strategy we built for that client in the first place, which defeats the point of reporting at all. We're building it right now and rolling it out this fall.
Sticking to the process is slower. It is also the only way any of this holds up at scale.
