2026 Legacy Conference Day 2 Sneak Peek:

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21
The Market Is Shifting — Stop Marketing, Start Educating

You may not have noticed, but your marketing looks and sounds exactly like every other agent's marketing — and mature clients notice. We break down the shift that's already separating the agents building real authority from the ones still chasing attention.

From Agent to Owner: Building Your Practice with the End in Mind

Most agents have a job to retire from, not a business they can sell — and don't realize the difference until it's too late to fix. We break down what it takes to build a practice you actually own — one with real value — instead of one that owns you. We'll cover the systems, the processes, and the mindset shift from agent to owner so that when you're ready to exit, you have something worth selling.

Senior Seminars & Workshops: Educating Your Way to Success

Attracting clients in the mature market space requires more than a simple ad or social campaign — it requires building trust and credibility. Community education — seminars, talks, and workshops — has proven successful for senior-centered agents who appreciate relationship-based selling over transactional methods of lead generation. In this session, we'll hear from CSHPs who have created successful community education programs and what it takes to make them work.

Shortening the Sales Cycle with Downsizer Clubs & Community Tours

Community education has already proven successful for creating connections and conversions. Downsizer Clubs and Senior Living Discovery Tours can shorten the sales cycle even further. In this session, CSHPs will share how clubs and tours build trust and business at the same time.

Initial Consultations: The Secret to Getting to Yes

The first conversation determines everything that follows — and too many agents get it wrong. In this session, we'll hear from top CSHPs as they unpack what initial consultations require to get a reluctant home seller from "I'm not ready yet" to "Let's do this."

The 4 Lead Generation Platforms and How They Work Together

We'll break down the four lead generation platforms every senior-centered agent has access to — personal, professional, senior living community, and public — and how they work together for short-term results and long-term success in the mature market.

EVENING BONUS SESSION: Life After Real Estate – What's Next?

Every agent will eventually ask the question: what comes after this? This session brings together agents who've already begun answering it — real conversations about selling the business, creating a new identity, and what's next beyond real estate.

Something to think about. When you are committed and have clarity around your priorities…..

More time will not solve a lack of priorities.

When you know what matters most, you can direct your energy toward meaningful progress instead of simply filling your schedule.

The question is not always how much time you have. It is what you choose to do with it.

Your senior-focused real estate business can't afford for you to miss the 2026 Legacy Conference!

Here is a Day One sneak peek:

✴️ The Decade Ahead: A Different Kind of Real Estate Market

The mature market of the next ten years won't look anything like the one you built your career on. Aging demographics, changing preferences, and clients navigating more complexity than the generations before them. We share the data and hard truths that will decide who leads this market and who gets left behind.

✴️ The Age of Change: What It Means to Get Old

Every assumption you carry about what it means to be "old" is probably outdated. Today's mature clients are redefining aging on their own terms — and agents who don't keep up misread every conversation, every objection, every decision. In this panel discussion we'll unpack what's actually changed, and why it matters.

✴️ What Downsizers Want & Need from Their Agent

Stop guessing what your clients want. Hear it straight from them. Real downsizers sit on this panel to tell you — unfiltered — what actually earned their trust, what agents got wrong, and what they wish every agent understood about selling a home late in life.

✴️ Placement Services: Understanding Who, When, Why and How Much

Agents are giving away their authority by making placement services an easy referral. Few are stopping to ask how the industry is regulated, who's really being served, or when it's actually the right call for a downsizing client. We pull back the curtain on a piece of the senior living puzzle most agents never question, so you know when placement genuinely fits — and when it doesn't.

✴️ The Path Forward: Navigating Senior Living Options

Almost every CCRC move starts with someone selling the house they've lived in for 30 or 40+ years. That's not just a transaction — it's both a financial decision and an emotional one. You can't serve your client well if you only understand one side of it.

Brad Breeding, CFP® and author of Your Best Path Forward, will be sharing what agents need to understand about how these decisions actually get made — the numbers, the qualifications, and the process.

✴️ Legacy & Leadership: Celebrating Excellence

We pause to recognize the agents already doing this work at the highest level — raising the bar for what senior-centered real estate looks like. Legacy & Leadership honors the professionals setting the example the rest of the industry hasn't caught up to yet.

See you in October!

If you think serving older adults in real estate is just another marketing angle, this probably is not for you.

But if you believe this work deserves more skill, more structure, and a higher standard, Success in Seniors Real Estate was built for that.

Virginia Lazenby, Certified Senior Housing Professional serving Georgetown Texas, said it plainly: this is a meaningful area of real estate, and the work required to earn the CSHP credential is part of what makes it worth doing.

She also pointed to something important. SREI gives agents a real framework for building a business around service, not just transactions.

That matters in a market where many older adults are relocating after decades in one home, often without a clear plan or much support.

This is not lightweight training.

It is practical education for agents who want to do the work well.
