Democrats! Please consider walking with Kendra Horn this Saturday in the Cherokee Holiday Parade. You can wear your Cherokee Democrats shirts. Kendra may have some of her own shirts as well.

Kendra’s campaign said lineup will take place at 8 am at corner of Crafton and Oklahoma. Our group will meet there and Kendra will pick up her entry number for line up.

When I was first elected Diversity Business Association of Oklahoma President, the new board members and I were excited revitalize and overhaul our organization. We knew there was a long road ahead due to the circumstances of the changes surrounding the change of personnel. I have been proud about the work we quickly did with new corporate members, planning committees, and was dedicated to all the changes that were going to take place. Then of course COVID hit. I became overwhelmed and frustrated with some of my limitations with guiding my own businesses through Covid while struggling with some of our technological systems to which I desperately needed access to properly lead our organization. It is with careful consideration I have decided to step down as president. That being said, I know that despite multiple roadblocks, we have an outstanding and effective board in place. I wish them all the luck in the world, and I can’t wait to cheer the organization on.
