Saudi Aramco-Mobil Refinery Co. Ltd. (Samref), a 50-50 joint venture of Saudi Aramco and ExxonMobil Corp. subsidiary Mobil Yanbu Refining Co. Inc., has completed modifications and renovations related to a clean-fuels project (CFP) at the Samref refinery in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

Petronas to buy out Phillips 66’s interest in Malaysian refinery.

Petronas has reached a deal with a subsidiary of Phillips 66 to acquire full ownership of Malaysian Refining Co. Sdn. Bhd. (MRC), which operates of one of two refining trains included in Petronas’ 200,000-b/d refinery complex in Sungai Udang, Melaka state, Malaysia.

Storm partially shutters PDVSA’s Cardon refinery

Venezuela’s 310,000-b/d Cardon refinery in Falcon state is in the process of resuming normal operations after a power outage over the weekend halted activities at the plant, state-owned Petroleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) said.

The US Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comments on an environmental assessment analyzing 2 proposed Enduring Resources LLC Rockhouse-Anadarko interconnect pipelines in eastern Utah. Written or e-mailed comments will be accepted until Nov. 21, BLM’s Vernal field office said.
